jurong library again? Wad should i say? I hate it still? Yup hate it yesterday & love it today =.=ll I did
5h20mins of CIP today! Yay! Did it from 12.40pm to 6pm ((: I know some of you will say its such a waste of time, but i simply just love the process! Let me elaborate on wad i do for CIP as a " librarian "
BOOK DROPFirstly,we were asked to pack books in 20 into a tray.But i was called out half way to do other stuffs.Guess wad? I was suppose to drop books @ the " book drop " =.=ll Duhh then drop books onto the floor ??!! Lols,that was fun! Btw, it's not just 10 or 20 books, its like 100 or even more? I was doing it with a librarian. I saw her swift movements man! She was like super duper fast? I followed up to.. Within like half an hour,we were done with the boxes of books! She said that the books were borrowed by the school. So now it was returned & we have to scan them thru the " book drop "
The funniest part was that i didn't know that xiao lei was inside collecting the books that were being scanned thru by the " book drop " So i was actually like rapidly throwing the books into the " book drop " & she was like collecting them. But she said that when she tried to take the books, the other book came along & hit her hand. It was like non-stop. So her hands hurt as the books came down rapidly, wahahaha. & the person who is throwing those books down the "book drop" was ME ; GERALDINE CHEN ((:
All thanks to me ((: Hahas, when she asked me wad was i doing outside, i said that i was at the "book drop" & she was like are you on the left or the right. I said the left one, the right was used by the outsiders. & she told me wad happened inside! Hahas xD I laugh like @%!!^^&*^!@&^@&* hurhur,i am so fortunate to be the one throwing those books down the "book drop" ((:
BOOK SHELVINGAfter that, we were asked to go to
B1 which is the CHILDREN SECTION to do the arranging of books =X Oh my, one trolley coming to us! Xiao lei taught me how to arrange the books according to the alphabets first before arranging them on the shelves.So i did as told & i took so long to arrange those books on the shelves =X But xiao lei was more experienced & she took more books than me but completed earlier than me =X Hahas,that was quite tiring too, but fun ! xD
SHELF-READINGAfter arranging everything onto the shelves properly ( 1h ++ ) The librarian told us to do shelf-reading ! Sighs,i totally hate that okays! We were already demoralised at that time & shelf-reading is totally killing us! The process was tiring! We were supposed to placed the books in an orderly manner if they were being misplaced & the small tiny alphabets are supposed to be in order as well! Btw, for your info, there are smaller letters on the library books as well. The librarian said that when the books at other outlets arrived we will have to do shelving instead. We thought that it will come in half an hour or shortly but unfortunately after
2 dreadful hours , the librarian did not approach us yet! Sighs,xiao lei and i were like half-dead, & we kept saying " wo bu gan le! " Hurhur,it's tired okay!
I hate the children section! Can't they be more neat?!
Sighs,we kept talking & chatting but when a librarian walk past, we will pretend to do our work.We did do out work,is just that we were slacking a tiny winy little bit ((: The books we were doing were non-fiction books, which means those books are like 948.0324 ?! All those numbers made me pissed man! I hate NUMBERS! Lols! After shelf-reading (not really completed but we dun care anymore =X) , we went back to the staff room , but no one was in, so we went u to look for help,the librarians were changing shift, so the later shift have not gone down to the children's section.
SHELF-READING AGAIN?!After we have found the librarian (at last!), she told us to do shelf-reading again! Booooooo T.T But xiao lei saw the staff's door opened, so we ran to the staff room & the other librarian gave us a trolley to arrange the books. We only did it for half an hour and went off as it was 6 already. So my dad came to fetch us, before that we went to buy waffles again ((: Hahahas xD
This is how time has past for me,today! Hahas.CIP @ the library was fun but tired X) But i enjoy my partnering with xiao lei, hahas,we kept laughing & laughing! When the shelf is full of books & cannot put anymore i will push one book down the shelf to the opposite shelf & i will say OOPS! Too bad then =S Hahas xD & she will laugh like mad =P Okays, end of my long compo/post ((: Take your time!
